Doyle Ronald "Ronny" Holloway passed away on December 29 ^th , 2022 in his home in Stephens, Arkansas. He was 74.

Ronny was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on July 23, 1948 to Juanita (Veazey) and Doyle William Holloway.

He attended school in Smackover, Arkansas where he made some of his fondest memories, friends and discovered his love of sports. After graduation in 1966 he attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia where he played football and was a member of Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity. After college he joined the United States Army and was stationed overseas in Thailand.

Upon returning home from his military service he worked several years for Cross Oil Refining in Smackover then Ensco in El Dorado before his retirement.

Ronny enjoyed collecting things. Throughout his life he loved listening to music and his vinyl record collection. When his son Pete was young they collected baseball, football and basketball cards together. He was an avid reader, sports watcher, gardener and often gave nicknames to people he was fond of. He appreciated the outdoors. Many memories were made with friends and family camping at Albert Pike and Lake Ouachita.

Ronny is preceded in death by his parents Doyle and Juanita; his grandson Garret Martin; granddaughter Shawna Williamson; and his beloved dog Blanco.

He is survived by his son Pete Holloway (Cissy); his grandsons Jordan Holloway and Truss Holloway; brother Mike Holloway (Becky); nephew Brian Holloway (Amber); niece Heather Holloway Busch (Jeremy); step children Jackie Martin (Darren); Marie Williamson (Richard); Tim Millican (Karen); step grandchildren Brittney, Whittney, Tyson and Kella.

At Ronny's request he was cremated and his ashes will be scattered at a later date. In his memory gather with friends, share a story, listen to music and toast to him.
