In Loving Memory of Dorothy M. Harrison

Dorothy M. Harrison, 95 of North Little Rock passed away on March 18, 2026. She was born to Gideon Johnson James and Pinkie Ella Clark James on March 23, 1930, in Dallas County, Arkansas.

Dorothy was known for her gentle spirit and wonderful sense of humor. She found joy in life's simple pleasures—reading the Sunday comics, listening to music, and spending time with a good book, especially those centered around history and autobiography. She enjoyed sewing and playing both the piano and guitar. She adored children, nothing put a smile on her face more than holding a baby in her arms.

She often shared fond memories of her childhood, recalling days spent playing with her siblings in the woods surrounding their family's small log cabin. Dorothy lived a simple, meaningful life and treasured those moments that brought comfort, laughter, and reflection.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Gideon and Pinkie James, and her daughter, Debbie Harrison Cash.

She is survived by her son, Perry Harrison of North Little Rock, Arkansas; her sister, Bonnie Evans of El Dorado, Arkansas; and her grandson, Jeremy Hollis of Fordyce, Arkansas.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Lakeside Cemetery in Camden, AR.
