Dorothy Caldwell, 97, of Camden, AR passed away on April 13, 2024. She was born on March 14, 1927, in Grapevine, AR to Willie and Nellie Vaughan Oldner. Dorothy was a member of First Assembly of God in Camden.  She loved going to church and went all the time until her age and health stopped her. Dorothy fought a long battle with Alzheimer's. Dorothy worked at Camden Hospital and retired in 1989 after 30 years of service. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, and cooking for her family. Her family loved her cooking too.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winnon Caldwell; her brother, Johnny Oldner; and a son-in-law, James Moses. Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Martha Moses of Missouri, and Anna Marie Buckner and husband, Richard of Louisiana; a sister, Ann Raines of Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Jim Moses of Florida, Tamara Bradley of Tennessee, Karrie Sandoval of Missouri, Terrie Huff of Missouri, Susan Middleton and husband, Jonathan of Louisiana, Kathy Sitagata and husband, Pep of Louisiana, Otis Allen of California, and Jeff Allen of Louisiana; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 11:00AM at Proctor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00AM-11:00AM before the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
