Donny Jeremy Hicks was called home to be with his personal Lord and Savior July 23, 2022.   He was born February 28, 1982 to Cindy Murry and the late Donny Wade Hicks.

Donny is survived by his sisters, Nikita Culpepper of Camden, AR and Kayla Hicks of El Dorado, AR; his nieces, Chloe Stafford of Conway, AR and Mylani Hicks of El Dorado, AR; his nephews, Addison Hicks of Oklahoma, Evan Riddell of Memphis, TN and Zayden Hicks of El Dorado, AR as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins and his partner Demera Sain and children Silas, Elizabeth and Gabriel.

Donny was always a very happy person with a light that could not be dimmed. Donny cared for every person he ever met and would always give his last to anyone. He was an organ donor and saved and helped many lives.

Donny enjoyed gardening, canoeing and being with friends and family. If you knew him you probably have great memories of his quick wit and sense of humor. The world is a little dimmer without him but heaven is all lit up.

A memorial service will be held 11:30 Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1048 Bethel Church Road, Lillie, LA with Bro. Phillip Farris officiating.
