Brother Don Williams was born to the late Perry and Rosie Williams May 31, 1955 in Chidester, Arkansas.

As a young child he was a member of Bethel AME Church. He gradated from Chidester High School class of 1973. He worked in construction for several years. He retired from Petit Jean Poultry Plant in 2011. In 1989 he met the Love of his life, Sis. Doris Williams. They were married in 1999. Although Don was a loner, he loved fishing, watching westerns, sports, and nature.

He had seven siblings to precede him in death.

Brother Don is survived by his wife, Doris Williams; his biological sons, Randall Sockwell of Chidester and Albert Weaver of Camden; sister, Ethel W. Wisdom of California; and one granddaughter, Kendall Brown of Camden; brother, Dave Williams (Eve) of Chidester; aunt, Rosetta Caldwell of California. He is also survived by his bonus children, Monteith Colclough (Rhonda), Donavon Colclough (Crystal), and Brandi Colclough; 9 grands and 2 great grands all of Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Rocky Hill Church of God in Christ in Chidester, AR with burial in Good Hope Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10-11 Saturday before the service at the church.
