Don McIllwain, 78 of Cherokee Village, AR passed away at his home on July 8, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1945 in Fisher, AR to Samuel and Sammie Evertt McIllwain, II. Don had a master's in theology. He was a special agent in Law Enforcement. He was a flight instructor and loved to fly small planes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Kathy McIllwain and Mary Ellen McIllwain ; a brother, Earl McIllwain; and a granddaughter, Katie McIllwain. He is survived by his wife, Lillie McIllwain of Cherokee Village, AR; his son, Scott McIllwain; a granddaughter, Sammie Ann, and his stepdaughter, Margie Arens; and a host of family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on July 13, 2023 at 2:00PM at Two Bayou Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
