Dennis
Camp
Mar 22, 1952 — Dec 24, 2024
Chidester
Dennis Camp was born on March 22,1952, and enjoyed a life filled with beauty and fulfillment for 72 years. Our Lord and Savior welcomed our beloved hero home on December 24, 2024.
Dennis was a devoted and steadfast husband to his wife, Shelia Camp, affectionately known as "Punkin," for a beautiful 36 years. He was a caring and lighthearted husband, father, papa, and friend to many. A seasoned hunter and a master electrician at TJC for 24 years, he cherished his days spent alongside his wife, animals, and family on their little slice of paradise. Above all, Dennis was a loyal and fervent follower of Jesus Christ.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Bryan and Dorothia Camp; one son, Freddie Kyle Hart; and four siblings, who welcomed him at Heaven's gates.
He made a lasting impact on every life he encountered.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 36 years, Shelia Camp; three children, Kellie Gillum and her husband, Boe, Jason Camp and his spouse, Autumn Lamb, and Daniel Camp and his wife, Joyce Camp; one sister, Jackie Polk; one brother, Ronnie Kidd; as well as his grandchildren, Abigayle Hart, Jarrod Lamb, Raini Lamb, Haellie Hart, Cassi Roberts, Alex Camp, Ross Gillum; and ten additional great-grandchildren.
As a born-again Christian, Dennis is now walking on the streets of gold with his Savior.
We would like to invite his close friends and relatives to join us for A Coming Home Celebration of Life which will take place on February 8th, 2025 at 2PM at Postmaster Grill in Downtown Camden, Arkansas.
