Dean Fletcher,
Jr.
Jun 13, 1967 — May 8, 2024
Camden
Dean Fletcher, Jr., 56, of Camden, AR passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. He was not a member of a church at his time of death but had made the decision to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior on 3/24/23.
Dean was a man known for many things. His early years he loved being outdoors and involved in sports. He graduated high school from Prescott and entered the marines and served from 1985-1988. Upon being honorably discharged from the marines he went on to become a deputy with the Ouachita County Sheriff's Department for 10 years. He left there to start his own business well known in the Camden area as Razorback Mobile Home Service and Transport.
Dean was always actively involved with his kids and grandkids extracurricular activities such as sports, pageants, and singing. He loved Wednesday poker nights with his buddies. Anyone who knew him, knew he was a jokester and would try to embarrass you. He loved a good auction deal and telling you all about the deal. His favorite role in life was being a Grumps to his grandkids. He had missed his wife, Diana, dearly for the last 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Fletcher of Camden, AR and father, Dean Fletcher Sr. of Camden, AR.
Survivors include two daughters, Kayla Phifer (Clint) of Benton, AR and Magan Brown (Matt) of Camden, AR; one son, Zach Fletcher (Kristin) of Camden, AR; mother, Nina Fletcher of Camden, AR; two sisters, Donna Graham (Billy) of Joplin, MO and Debra Booth (Bopie) of Camden, AR; two brothers, Dennis Fletcher (Renee) of Camden, AR and David Fletcher (Stephanie) of Camden, AR; numerous nephews, niece, cousins, and many friends. He also leaves behind his biggest pride and joy of 8 grandkids; Lynley, Fletcher, Walker, Layne, Lawsyn, Ashton, Parker and Brooklyn.
Dean was loved and will be missed by many.
