David DeMorrow, 80, of Camden, Arkansas, Passes Peacefully into the Arms of the Lord.

David DeMorrow, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and faithful follower of Christ, passed away on July 7, 2025, at his home in Camden, Arkansas. He was born on August 20, 1944, and lived a life rooted in kindness, consistency, and Christian love.

David was married to the love of his life, Shirley DeMorrow (Gersonde), and together they shared decades of unwavering partnership. His daily "Good Morning" emails became a treasured ritual for family and friends, filled with updates, thoughtful reflections, and the kind of warm humor that made everyone feel close, no matter the distance.

He was a man of steady presence and quiet joy—whether having morning coffee with Shirley, fixing something around the house, or sharing a lighthearted joke. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, where his heart for others and deep faith was evident to all who knew him.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley DeMorrow; his children, Scott and Karen DeMorrow, Lisa and Brett Nelson, and Cary Tuinstra; his grandchildren, Alyssa and Nick Gasorek, Daniel Nelson, Brad and Rachel DeMorrow, Lisa and Paul Puneky, and Kayla and Chris Hodges; and his great-grandchildren, Destanie Nelson, Alexandria Walker, Sutton Nelson, Paige Nelson, Marley Hodges, Julius Hodges, Tristen Hodges, Emery Puneky, William Puneky, and Charles Puneky.

He was preceded in death by Nancy DeMorrow, Piper DeMorrow, LizBeth DeMorrow, and Faith DeMorrow.

He leaves behind a legacy of love that spans generations—a life lived not for acclaim, but for faith, family, and the joy of seeing others smile.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church. In honor of David, they ask that you share a cup of coffee, offer a kind word, or tell a lighthearted joke to someone today—just as he did every morning.
