Dannie Lee Wyatt was born March 19, 1943 in Camden, Arkansas to Dan and Juanita Rosegrant Wyatt. He passed away on February 20, 2025 at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Dannie was a 1961 graduate of Fairview High School. After graduation he attended Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway now known as the University of Central Arkansas. As a young man, he was an avid horseman and a member of the Circle C Riding Club of Camden. He rode in the quadrille and also won several individual riding events on the local and state levels. He was one of two people who ever rode the famous "Buckbrush" in competition. Dannie raised Appaloosa horses for many years. He also raised cattle, a hobby he enjoyed until his death.

Dannie owned and operated Wyatt Oil Company, Inc. for 61 years. He was a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church, a former Ouachita County Boys Club board member, and a member of the Arkansas Oil Marketers Association.

Dannie was a wonderful son, husband, father, and papaw. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 61 years, Marie of Camden; two children, Melissa (Scott) Legg and Lee (Mandy) Wyatt all of Camden; four grandchildren, Rhett Dean of Lincoln, Arkansas, Katelyn (Kaleb) Sallee of Camden, Anna Grace Dean of Little Rock, and Hunter Wyatt of Camden; five great grandchildren, Jett Dean and Jax Dean both of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Reagan Hurley, Kaiden Sallee, and Jaxon Sallee all of Camden.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 23rd from 6-8 pm at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Monday, February 24th at 10 am at Cullendale First Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas.  Interment will be in Memorial Park, Camden, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cullendale First Baptist Church to Operation Christmas Child.
