Obituary

Curtis Leo Rogers, 88, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at UAMS from injuries he received in a fall.  Leo was born October 14, 1935 in Louann, AR to Dentious and Avis Able Rogers.  Leo was handicapped his entire life but always accepted it and had a wonderful attitude.  At the time of his death, he still lived alone with the help of his wonderful assistant, Hattie Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Walter Rogers of Maumelle and William Rogers of Camden.

He is survived by his sister, Mona Rogers Jeffus of Camden; sister-in-law, Janice Rogers of Maumelle; nephew, Michael Wayne Jeffus (Donna) of Texarkana; nieces, Lisa (Mark) Stovall of Conway, Lynn Dickey and Laurie Rogers both of Maumelle, Stephanie Clyde (Steve) of Magnolia, TX; several great nephews and nieces; and four great great nephews.

A very special thank you to Dr. James Abraham, III and Megan for their excellent care and attention for 31 years.

Leo was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.  He loved his church and enjoyed all the support, love and attention given him.

A graveside service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, October 02, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Terri Lynn Bunnell officiating.
