Curtis Roland Nichols, 83, died September 5, 2023. He was born March 24, 1940, to O'Dell and Nishia Nichols. Roland was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a faithful member of the Locust Bayou church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Corrine Nichols and two brothers, Brooks Nichols and Gary Nichols. Roland is survived by two sons, Allen Nichols (Tanya) and Dell Nichols (Kristy); five grandchildren, Aaron, Amber, Tony, Colton and Hannah; three great grandchildren, Lisa, Asher and Ryder and a brother, Jim Nichols.

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 Friday, September 8, 223 at the Locust Bayou church of Christ followed by services at 2:00 and interment at Lakeside Cemetery.
