Obituary

Cynthia Joyce Miller, 76, of Camden, Arkansas, passed away on November 10, 2024. Cindy was born on March 11, 1948, to Dewey and Joyce Williams in Ouachita County. She graduated from Smackover High School in 1966, where she was voted class favorite.

In 1970, Cindy married Danny Miller, the love of her life. Together, they raised four children: Doug Miller, Angie McLendon (Jason), Wendi Smith, and Matt Miller, all of Camden.

For many years, Cindy dedicated herself to her family as a stay-at-home mother and as the wife of a Baptist preacher. Once her children were well into their school years, she pursued a career at the Southwest Arkansas Development Council in Camden and Chidester. Later, she retired from Morrison's Pharmacy due to a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease.

A loving MiMi, Cindy cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, delighting them with her famous chicken and dumplings and peanut butter fudge. She shared a strong and sweet bond with her sisters, bringing joy and laughter to every gathering. Known affectionately as the life of the party, she touched everyone around her.

Cindy was predeceased by her parents, Dewey and Joyce Williams; her husband, Bro. Danny Miller; and her sister, Terry Harmon (BJ), remembered by her sons Doug and Matt Miller; daughters Angie McLendon (Jason) and Wendi Smith; her brother Bob Williams (Dean); and sisters Pat Ray (Charlie, deceased) and Sharon Kay Ward (Bud Albritton). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Skylar Vaughan (Dillon), Avery Miller, Asher Miller, Sophia Smith, and Wyatt Smith, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to OCMC Hospice and Silver Oaks Health and Rehabilitation for their exceptional care of our precious mother, MiMi, and sister.  Cindy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held at Proctor Chapel on 11/13/2024 at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00PM. Burial at Chidester Cemetery will immediately follow.
