Christopher Gene Marcell was born in Gouvernuer, NY to Ernest Leslie and Mary Marcell and eventually his family moved to Maynard, Mass.  He joined the Navy at an early age and served in Jacksonville, Florida for 4 years. He was very proud of his service. He married a lovely woman Robin Erinberg, which they divorced but always remained friends. He was a merchant Marine for many years and later became a long-haul truck driver. Chris loved history, riding his Harley, and enjoyed his alone time. He went to a beat of a different drum, but he was a good soul. He ended up in Bearden Arkansas where his wonderful friend and family Dave and Dee Chambliss lived. Chris's sister is most grateful to Dave and Dee Chambliss for the friendship and family they shared with her brother. Many thanks to all in Bearden who knew and were Chris's friend, and to all who were in his life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Leslie Marcell. He is survived by his mother, Mary Marcell and his sister, who loved her brother, Dianne Waters who lives in the Adirondacks; a son, Dustin Marcell; and 2 grandchildren who includes lovely granddaughter, Hadlee who lives in Texas.
