Chris "Pete" Peters, 53 of Camden, AR passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026.  He was born May 23, 1972 in Camden, AR to Ted and Frances Jean Peters.  He was a graduate and an Alumni of the class of 1990 from Fairview High School.  He was a member of the NHRA.  He had a smile that could light up a room and a personality that was larger than life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Jean Peters; grandparents, Elmer W. and Fannie Stinnett Davis and Lloyd and Goldie Peters; and uncle, Larry Peters and Ed Langston.

He was survived by his wife, Tammy Peters; father, Ted Peters; uncle Jim Bob Davis; cousins, Stephanie Fletcher and husband, David, Jessica Davis and husband, Luke, Hunter Reede and husband, Tyler, Lane Davis, Carly Davis all of Camden, AR, and Beckett Reede of Sheridan, AR; uncle, David Peters of Smackover, AR; aunts, Joan Langston of Smackover, AR and Freida Terrebonne of El Dorado, AR; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, February 04, 2026 at Missouri Cemetery in Chidester, AR.

Chris "Pete" would want everyone to celebrate his life sharing the good memories and to not be sad for him as he is rejoicing in heaven with his mother.
