Cheryl Baggett, 81, of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away to be with the Lord on July 9th, 2026. Born November 13th, 1944, in Camden, Arkansas where she loved the country life, family, and playing basketball. Moving to El Dorado where she spent most of her life, she enjoyed boating, skiing, camping, going to concerts and being with family and friends. She was fiercely loyal, loving, and had a way of not keeping you in suspense as to how she felt. She lived life loud and joyful. Cheryl would brighten a room when she walked in and always encouraged those around her. Playing Yahtzee and cheering on the Razorbacks were favorite pastimes.

Her work-life included being a beautician, secretary and doing bookkeeping in both El Dorado and Camden. Her family especially liked her kitchen work and enjoyed every bit of it.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Gracie Dean of Camden, brother Jackie Dean of Ogemaw, and brother Philip Dean of Camden.

She is survived by nephews Bret (Lana) Dean and Mark Dean; her former husband and continual friend, Dennis Baggett; and a host of great nieces and nephews as well as many close family and friends with whom she made many precious memories.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00AM at Proctor Funeral home. There will be a visitation one hour before the service. Interment will be at Bethesda Cemetery.
