Charlotte L. Jackson, 73 of Mansfield, TX, formerly of Camden, AR passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024.  She was born November 05, 1950 in Camden, AR to John and Mittie Leake Johnson.  She formerly worked in nursing.  She retired from Lockheed Martin.  After retiring from Lockheed Martin, she obtained certification from SAU-Tech to be licensed in childcare and child development.  She was a devout Christian, devoted mother, grandmother and sister.  She loved to cook and entertain family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Johnson, Sr. and Mittie Leake; sister, Barbara Ann Davis and brother, John Johnson, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Broderick Bowles and wife, Rasheka of Mansfield, TX; daughter, Charanda Jackson of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bryson and Domonique; sister, Eleanor Faye Simmons of Little Rock, AR; brother, James Johnson of Camden, AR; a host of nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 03, 2024 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday, May 04, 2024 at True Word South Ministries, 251 Madison Avenue, NE, Camden, AR 71701.  B urial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, AR.  Bishop Robert Arnold will be officiating.
