Charlie Perry Roberson, 75, was born on March 4, 1951, in Camden, Arkansas to the late Charlie and Christine Roberson. Charlie peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at home, leaving behind a legacy of love, family and cherished memories.

Charlie attended and graduated from Lincoln High School. After graduation, he married his sweetheart, Peggy Moss. Shortly after that, he was drafted into the US Army where he proudly served for more than 10 years as an Army Sergeant until he became disabled and was released.

Charlie was proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joe Perry and Travis Roberson; two sisters, Annie Strickland and Mary Gales; two nieces; Christina Marie Powell and Susan Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons, Jodice, Derrick, and Roderick Roberson, two sisters, Mildred Roberson, Marie General (Darren), five grandsons, one granddaughter, and one great grandson, two aunts, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00AM at Concord Missionary Baptist Church at 430 S. Adams, Camden, AR 71701, with Rev. Jackie J. Flannigan officiating the service. There will be a visitation from 12:00PM-5:00PM on Friday August 14, 2026, at Proctor Funeral Home, and one hour before the service at the church.
