Charles Stinnett, Sr., 101, of Camden, AR, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Silver Oaks Nursing and Rehab. He was born January 30, 1922, in Chidester, AR. He was the son of the late Willie C. and Maudie Pickett Stinnett. He was a WW II Veteran, retired from International Paper Company, member and Deacon of Hillside Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elgie Mae Creech Stinnett; son, Charles Stinnett, Jr.; two grandsons, Jeremy Stinnett, Robby Stinnett; two sisters, Lucille Toland and Willene Hood.

He is survived by two sons, Jerry Stinnett and wife, Nell of Magnolia, AR and Ricky Stinnett and wife, Beth of Chidester, AR; four grandchildren, Joanna Stinnett, Leah Stinnett, Rusty Stinnett and wife, Michelle and Tommy Stinnett and wife, Lindsey; four step-grandchildren, Rhonda Johnson, Tony Fitzgerald and wife, Liz, Chris Blackstock and wife, Liz and Amanda Kay and husband, David; numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00PM Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Proctor Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00PM Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Ron Owen will officiate the service. The burial will follow in Missouri Cemetery, Chidester, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
