Charles Newton, 92, of Camden, AR, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at his home in Camden, AR. He was born November 1, 1930 in Harrell, AR. He was the son of the late Henry and Martha Mauldin Newton. He was retired from International Paper Company and a Korean War Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Martha Mauldin Newton; wife, Dixie Newton; daughter, Cynthia Malay Crawford; grandson, Myles Scott-Newton Harrison.

He is survived by his sister, Joy Bruce of Camden, AR; host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 10:00AM Friday, December 9, 2022 at New Hope Cemetery, Woodberry, AR. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Woodberry, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
