Charles Matthew "Matt" Kriehn passed away in his home in Rogers, Arkansas on December 4, 2023.  He was born December 13, 1971, to Charles William and Olivia Sue Kriehn. Matthew was a graduate of Camden High School and the University of Arkansas; after which, he spent most of his professional life in service of others as a firefighter and paramedic.  He loved history and read avidly about key figures and events of the World War 2 era.  He also loved music and discussing the styles and influences of new and classic artists.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles William Kriehn and nephew, Landon Brian. He is survived by his daughter Hannah Catherine Smith, her husband, Luke Smith, and their daughter Elise Smith. He is also survived by his mother, Olivia Sue Cook Kriehn; his sister, Karla Brian (Lane); and brother, Stephen Kriehn (Ashley). Matthew also had many nieces and nephews:  Jacob Lewis (Emily) and their daughters Naomi and Mary; Layton Brian; Eleanor Kriehn; and Vivian Kriehn.

Those wishing to express sympathy through memorial gifts are encouraged to do so through contributions to Arkansas Childrens Hospital.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Bethesda Cemetery, Camden, AR. Bro. David Collins will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery, Camden, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
