Charles W. Garner of Bearden, 86, died August 25, 2022. He was born September 15, 1935 in Camden, AR to Henry W. and Mabel Russell Garner. Charles was a member of the Maul Road church of Christ. Charles served as principal for the Bearden School District for 28 years. He enjoyed raising his Santa Gertrudis cattle. He and Yvonne especially enjoyed traveling together and the adventure of seeing new places. They were blessed to have been able to travel literally all over the world, visiting several continents and numerous countries.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Garner; a grandson, Tyler Garner; a sister, Barbara Foster; and daughter-in-law, Linda Garner. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Garner; a son, Stephen Garner (Autumn) of Des Arc, AR; a daughter, Lori Raines (Mike) of North Little Rock, AR; five grandchildren, Trent Garner (Kelly), Troy Garner, Haley Raines, Luke Garner and Oaklea Garner; and great-grandchildren Lincoln and Delta Garner and a sister, Betty Lou Allen.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 Monday, August 29, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden.   Services will be 10:00 Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Maul Road church of Christ.
