Charles Cathey, 77, of Camden, AR, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at his home in Camden, AR. He was the son of the late Hubert C. and Sarah Frances Langley Cathey. He was born on January 27, 1949, in Camden, AR. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, graduate of Camden High School and attended University of Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert C. and Sarah Frances Langley Cathey.

He is survived by his sister, Linda McAllister of Camden, AR; nephew, Mike McAllister and wife, Erin of Camden, AR; niece, Cathey Griffin and husband, Craig of El Dorado, AR; special friend, Vicki Powers of Camden, AR; host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Camden, AR.
