Caprice LaToya Taisha Marsh, age 44 of Bearden, passed away at home on March 4, 2023. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She is survived by her husband Danuel Stevens and their daughter Dakota Stevens, her mother Patricia Marsh Mathis of California; siblings Danya (Desean) Rodgers of Texas; Kerry Marsh, Whitney Mathis, Tana Mathis, Cheyenne Mathis, Audrianna Mathis, and Anthony Mathis, Jr., all of California; and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Anthony Wayne Mathis. She will also be sorely missed by her parents-in-law, Richard and Jean Vosper; sister-in-law Nicole Stevens (Rory Homan); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Born in Los Angeles, California, on November 16, 1978, she met her soulmate, Danuel, in an online gaming forum in 2008. They knew within a short period of time that they were meant to be together. Known to many as Cece and Pree, Caprice deeply loved her family and friends, staying in contact with them almost daily. She was selfless and generous to a fault, always placing other people before herself. She enjoyed music of all types and movies, particularly animated films and Japanese anime. Caprice also had the greatest smile and laugh, and gave the warmest, most comforting hugs in the world.

A Homecoming Memorial is being planned for March 23 in California. A Memorial service for her Arkansas family and friends will be announced at a later date.
