It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Calvin Box, who departed this life on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the age of 64. Calvin was a beloved son, father, brother and friend whose warmth and humor touched the lived of everyone who knew him.

Born February 12, 1961, in Camden, AR, Calvin grew up with strong family values and a steadfast work ethic.  Calvin helped his dad and brother haul pulpwood as a teenager.  He was employed later at International Paper Company in Gurdon, AR.  Also, he was employed at ARC Automotive in Camden, AR.  Whether he was lending a helping hand to a neighbor, or bringing joy through his laughter, Calvin lived his life with purpose and compassion.

He is preceded in death by his father, TS Box; and grandparents.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Virger Mae Box; daughter, Markita "Keke" Box; son, Marcus Welch; brother, Curtis Box (Patricia Box); and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A celebration of Calvin's life will be held on Saturday, November 01, 2025 at 11:00AM at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR.

Though Calvin is no longer with us in body, his spirit and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
