Brenda Kay Speer, 80, of Hot Springs Village, AR, formerly from Little Rock, AR, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, after battling cancer for over thirty years. She was born on October 10, 1943, to Hershal H and Reba Dilworth Speer in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her very dear sister-in-law, Mary Jane Speer.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Cole (Barry), of Hot Springs Village; her son, Timothy Smith (Robert Hooks), of Little Rock; her brother, Roy Speer, of Camden; her grandchildren, Cody Morgan (Allie Moody), of Casa, AR; Kaycee Erin Graham (Patrick), of Holly Springs, GA; and Spencer Cole of Tallahassee, FL; great-grandchildren, Nolan Morgan, Silas Graham, Saylor Graham, and Emmett & Elliott Harper; nephews Josh & Cary Speer, and several cherished cousins.

Brenda grew up in Camden, AR and graduated from Camden High School in 1961. After attending Harding University, she returned to Camden. Over the years, she worked for Southwestern Bell, Action Realty, Atlantic Research, Arkla Gas, and Jordan Realty. She was a member of the Maul Rd Church of Christ and Junior Auxiliary in Camden, and Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Little Rock. She loved and was skilled at restoring antique furniture and was also passionate about interior decorating. She was "Nana" to her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 17 from 5:00pm-7:00pm, and Memorial Service Saturday, May 18, at 10:00am, both at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden. Graveside service and interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
