On March 11, 2023 Brenda L. Parr, wife, mother grandmother and friend passed from this life surrounded by her loving family at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock after suffering a stroke.

Brenda was born February 20, 1945 in McNeil Arkansas to Frances Cook. She married the love of her life Ronald Parr on May 10, 2003. She attended church at Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God. Brenda was known for her love of cooking, gardening, fishing, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved to enter her baked and canned goods in the Ouachita County Fair. She won many Blue Ribbons and Best of Show. She always looked forward to the Fair every year. She made the best homemade carrot cake. It was always a request at family gatherings and birthdays. She loved all the ladies she exercised with. The "Strong Women" from Ouachita County Home Extension Agency.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Parr, sister Dean Brown (Grady) of Stephens, daughter, Rhonda Williams, sons Gerald, David, and Danny Parr. Her grandchildren Brandy Martin and Zackere Poole and several great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews and cousins. Brenda loved all her family but she had 3 special nieces that were like daughters Debbie Brown, Krystal Warner and Kim Bradshaw.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Annette Poole, son, Roy Poole, Brothers Dale Pierce and Troy Nations, sisters Lilly Hamilton, Ricky McClain, Eloise Cook and Diane Hagins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 2:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home, with interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 6:00-8:00PM. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
