Brenda Gail Merritt 70 of Camden, AR passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at OCMC. She was born to Emory and Travis Lewis Howland on October 17, 1954. She and Harvey Merritt married in 1976, she then moved to the Delta area and began farming side by side with uncle Harvey until they retired, they then sold the farm and moved back to Camden where she cared for her parents. Aunt Brenda was a very unique person, you probably could even say she thought very unique, coming up with unique ideas of all sorts. As she would begin to share these ideas with uncle Harvey, as usual, he would sit patiently and listen to each one, then would always come his famous response to her "now hon."

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Lawrence and Steven Howland; a sister, Juanita Howland; a nephew, Sherman Howland; an infant niece, Patricia Howland; and a great great nephew, Seth Stewart.

She is survived by her affectionate little side kick named Poochie and many many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service is 10:00AM Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Lakeside Cemetery.
