Bonnie Faye Lewis passed away at her home on August 5, 2023, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on April 25, 1933, in Arkadelphia, AR to Robert Franklin and Willie Gladys Parker Green.  Bonnie had a great career working at M&P Bank - Bancorp as the Senior Vice President.  Bonnie was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren.  She was always involved in her children's activities and became the State President of the PTA when her children were young.  She also served as a member of the Lions Club and Quilting Club.  Bonnie enjoyed quilting, sewing, and was well known for her beautiful wedding cakes.  Out of all her hobbies, her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Bonnie was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Edgar Lewis; and a sister, Hazel Lee Calhoun. She is survived by three sons, Ronnie Lewis (Jean) of Camden, AR, Don Robert Lewis of Camden, AR, Jim Lewis (Diane) of Bismarck, AR; a daughter Jo Ella Ashcraft (Vic) of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren Melissa Lewis, Anthony Tuberville, Leslie Boothe (Donnie), Lane Lewis, Chase Ashcraft, Chad Ashcraft; numerous great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Lavern Browning, Inez Graham, Elsie Jenkins, Linda Hill, Ouachita County Hospice, and Life Touch Hospice for all their wonderful care given to Bonnie during her time of need.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00PM Monday, August 7, 2023, at Proctor Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Joan, AR.  Pastor Kat Burchfield will be officiating the graveside service.  Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
