A cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Bobby Vernon Bell passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 10, 2024, at the age of 86 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Christine "Teenie" Wahlstrom Bell, as well as his daughters Debbie Cameron (John), Karen Landry (Troy), and Tracy Davidson (Kelly). How Bobby loved his girls! He is also survived by his sister, Donna Libby (David) and two brothers, Glenn Bell (Marsha) and David Bell (Melissa). Additionally, Bobby is also survived by seven adoring grandchildren: Christy Cameron, Paul Cameron, Lauren Davidson, Lindsey Davidson, Bobby Rudy, Karah Gajan and Sarah Allen and great grandchildren, Ellie Gajan and Jacob Allen.

Bobby was born in Fouke, Arkansas, to Marvin and Lavelle Sprayberry Bell on October 18, 1937. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arkansas where he met the love of his life, Teenie. Bobby built a successful career at International Paper, which led them to reside in several locations across Arkansas, Louisiana, South Carolina, and New York, making friends along the way. Bobby retired from papermaking after 31 years of hard work and enjoyed 33 years of retirement. Bobby and Teenie made Camden, Arkansas, their home for almost 40 years.

Bobby's favorite places were outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, as well as hunting ducks and quail, especially with his father Marvin. He was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Camden Country Club. A spirited Razorback fan, he closely followed the Hogs in football, basketball and baseball.

He modeled Christian values by exemplifying the Golden Rule. He and Teenie raised their daughters to be smart, independent and hard-working. Those ideals will live on through his daughters and grandchildren for years to come.

Visitation will be at 1:30 PM Sunday, August 18, at First Presbyterian Church in Camden. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 PM at the church.
