Bob Curtis Davis, 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. He was born on January 29, 1947 in Magnolia, AR to Frank and Thelma McKinney Davis. Bob graduated from SAU with an associate degree in science and business administration in 1988. He Went on to get a bachelor's degree in science in 1991 from SAU. He completed his master's degree in education at UALR in 2005. Bob taught High School in Taylor, AR, and later became a college professor. He loved to watch Jeopardy and answer all the questions. Bob liked to fish and hunt, but his passion was for golf. He was an avid golfer. His greatest joy though was spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his lifelong companion, Lynette Gates of Hot Springs, AR; his son, Bryant Davis of Camden, AR; his daughter, Mandy Smith and her husband, Steve of London, England; sister, Vicki Gamblin of Stephens, AR; brother, James Davis and his wife, Linda of Hot Springs, AR; grandson, Frank Davis; and granddaughter, Elouise Smith; and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 09, 2024 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church of Stephens, AR with interment going to Stephens Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 1:00PM-2:00PM before the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
