Billy Bob Barton, born June 15, 1948, died Jan 8, 2025. He was the son of Ted Barton and Mary Frances McGaughy Barton. Bill served proudly 4 years in the United States Navy. He was a lifelong member of Buena Vista Methodist church. He is a retired electrician. In his younger days he loved to hunt and fish! Fishing being his favorite!

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Robert Shelby and sister, Bonelle Barton Boles.

Left to cherish his memory is a son, James Gregory Barton (Lea) of Camden, sister, Beth Reynolds of Hampton; brother, Doug Shelby of Keithville, LA; grandsons, Gamble Barton and Jacob Barton Dedman of Camden, AR; a niece, Mandy Ivy of Hampton, AR; nephews, Steve Ivy of Hampton, AR, Russ Boles of West Monroe, LA and Mike Boles of Madisonville, La, Jay Gentry of Little Rock, AR; his loving companion his dog, Happy; and a lot of great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM Monday, January 13, 2025 at Proctor Funeral Home with visitation from 1 to 2 before the service.
