Benny Edward Andrews, 76, of Chidester, AR, died Monday, June 27, 2022 at Ouachita County Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1945 in Magnolia, AR. He was the son of the late Romie Benjamin and Annie Beatrice Christie Andrews. He was a Mason, retired Pipefitter Local 706 and member of Buena Vista United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Romie Benjamin and Annie Beatrice Christie Andrews.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Andrews of Chidester, AR; daughter, Karla Portillo of Dallas, TX; stepdaughter, Jacki Romero of Chidester, AR; stepson, Jon Patterson and wife, Dianna of Bellville, AR; two grandsons, David Portillo and Paul Portillo both of Mexico; two brothers, Tom Andrews and wife, Mary of Chidester, AR and Bill Andrews of Stephens, AR.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Tate (Dick Tate) Cemetery. Rev. Mike Suttle will officiate. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
