Audrey Elizabeth Cockrell, 85, of Camden AR, died Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. Ms. Cockrell was born September 11, 1938 in Bastrop, LA, the daughter of Harry Cockrell and Dorcas Cockrell Reeves. She was a retired physical education teacher/coach and a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church.

Besides her parents Harry and Dorcas Cockrell Reeves she was proceeded in death by Charles Johnston, Carolyn Johnston and Margaret Newberry.

Survivors include her cousins, Raymond Johnston, Janice Johnston, Tony Johnston and wife Misty, Marty Johnston and wife Stacy; Special friends Sandra Dennis, Jerry Compton and wife Lisa, Cindy Newberry and countless others.

Funeral services for Ms. Cockrell will be 4:00 P.M. at Proctor Funeral Home chapel Friday, January 19, 2024 with Rev. Wade Totty officiating. Proctor Funeral Home of Camden oversees arrangements. The visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00pm Friday at Proctor Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cullendale First Baptist Church.
