Archie Lee Morris, Jr, 100, of Malvern, AR, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was born January 23, 1922 in Waldo, AR to the late Archie Lee Morris, Sr and Ola Freeman Morris. Archie was of the Catholic Faith and worshiped at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Malvern, AR. Archie served his country during WWII spent most of his time in the CBI theater, primarily in India. His final tour was in Laredo, Texas where he met his wife. Archie was a Federal Postal worker for almost 30 years. Followed by several years working at Country Discount. He served as a volunteer at the Malvern Hospital for 15 years. Archie always raised a fine garden and gave away more food than he kept. He coached his boys in baseball for years and he always told us how proud he was of us wether we won or lost.

Archie was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years LaLa Garcia Morris and his wife of 9 years Betty Genestet Morris.

Archie is survived by his four children, Connie (Thurman), Dennis (Carol), Steve and Kenneth; nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12:00-1:00PM Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:30PM Saturday, December 17, 2022 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
