Aquilla Ann Phillips, 70, went to be with her heavenly father on December 18, 2023, in Longview, Texas. Aquilla was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on November 20, 1953, to parents Leroy Miller and Winnie Gilkey (Slade) and was the eldest sister to three brothers. She was blessed with two children and six grandchildren. Aquilla was married to her loving husband, Bobby, for 19 years until his passing in 2010. Aquilla had a successful career as a nurse for over 40 years, first as an LPN then an RN. She loved spending time with her family, playing Phase 10, tending to her plants, collecting gnomes, and watching many different TV shows.

Aquilla is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Phillips; her parents, Leroy Miller, and Winnie Slade; her stepfather, James Slade; her brother, Joey Miller. She is survived by her brothers: Jackie Miller, Charlie Miller, and his wife Diane; her daughter, April Wilson, and her husband Chris; her son, Anthony Harris; her grandchildren: Wynter, Camron (Jazmine), Sarah, Blaine, Joey, Ainsley; a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11AM at Bethesda Cemetery, 395 Ouachita Rd 47, Camden, AR 71701. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
