Ann Riddick Parks, age 87, passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, March 4, 2026. She was born October 31, 1938, in Rodessa, Louisiana.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Abner and Valerie Wade Riddick; her husband, Dr. Leon Parks; her beloved son, Charles "Charlie" Dyer; her sister, June Riddick; and her brother, Rudolph Riddick.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Cindy Dyer; her grandson, Kevin Dyer and wife Katie; and her great-grandson, Landon Dyer. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Forest Parks and wife Mary; Karen Boileau; Connie McCombs; and Teresa Best and husband Tim; as well as her cherished cat, Kitty.

Ann was a longtime member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Longview, where her faith was an important and guiding part of her life. She enjoyed traveling and especially loved going out to eat with family and friends. One of her greatest joys was attending the annual Riddick family reunions, where she treasured the time spent visiting with cousins and their families and sharing stories, laughter, and memories.

Ann worked as a Senior Outside Salesperson with Simon's Farm Tools. Before retiring, she served as an Outpatient Administrator for Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview, where she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and kindness to both patients and colleagues.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Riddick Family Cemetery in Troy, Arkansas.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the caregivers with Visiting Angels and to the East Texas Hospice staff for the loving care and compassion they showed Ann. Their kindness and support meant so much during her final days. A very special thanks is also extended to Fannie Williams, Ann's cousin, who loved and cared for Ann and spent many years traveling together and sharing countless laughs and cherished memories.

Ann will be remembered for her faith, her warmth, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
