Alvin "Bimbo" Moseley, 70, died January 1, 2024.  He was born December 26, 1953 in Monroe, LA to Troy Howard and Mamie Louise Hust Moseley.  Bimbo was an accomplished musician.  He played guitar for two bands, "Sass" and "The Sammy Skiles Band." They were an opening band for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.  He especially enjoyed southern rock and blue grass.  Some of his favorite bands were the Allman Brothers and the Dave Miller Band.

Bimbo made friends easily and had many friends.  He was always the life of the party and kept everyone laughing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mitzie Myers and two nephews, John David Myers, Jr. and Lawson Troy Moseley. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Moseley; a daughter, Kelly Cathey; a son, Brandon Moseley; a daughter, Brooke Howard-Parker; two grandsons, Jay Dee Doherty and Zachery Moseley; two granddaughters, Jena Elizabeth Doherty and Sarah Parker and two great-granddaughters, Chloe Moseley and Ivy Louise Jones; and one brother, James Howard Moseley. He is also survived by many friends and relatives, including his special lifelong friend, John Stewart.

Services will be 2:00 Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
