Alta Faye Brown, 83, died October 11, 2022.  She was born February 19, 1939, in Waldron, AR to Fred and Lelia Mae Moore.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Camden where she served as Secretary of the Al Rose Couples Class for 40 years.

Faye was employed by the Camden Public Schools for 40 years where she dedicated her days to serving elementary school children.  Most recently Faye was a resident of Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Camden where she made a host of new friends and family.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Burnis Brown.  She is survived by two daughters, Angie McClellan and Lori Foster, both of Camden; three grandsons, Jacob Foster (Christina) of Box Elder, SD, Spencer Musgrave (Krista) of Camden, AR and Hinton Foster of Columbus, OH; a granddaughter, Andrea Peterson of Camden, AR; eight great grandchildren, Gavin, Weston, Jackson and Mason Foster, Jeramiah, Olyvia and Addyson Musgrave and Elliott Peterson; a brother, Leon Moore; a sister, Raye Thomas (Harold) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Memorial Park in Camden.
