Adele Fowler Davis, of Camden, AR (formerly Conroe, TX), passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026. She was born on September, 6, 1932 to Ervin Fowler and Rachel Wilson Fowler of Winnsboro, LA.

Adele completed a high school education in Winnsboro, LA. She also earned a cosmetology license. She moved to Conroe, TX and retired from Armour and Company of Houston, TX. After retirement she became an accomplished gardener and breeder of exotic chicken varieties. She loved spending time in her greenhouses and gardens where she attended to many rare plant species. She was also an avid dog lover, especially her pugs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Melvin Del Rio, Jr, Ervin Del Rio, Richard Del Rio, and Thomas Del Rio, her grandchildren Heather Michelle Del Rio and Michael Dewayne Del Rio and brother, James Henry Fowler of Houston, TX.

She is survived by her spouse, Dennis Davis of Conroe, TX, stepchildren, James Davis of San Antonio, TX and Cindy Owens of Dallas, TX, three grandchildren and three step grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, as well as, her brother, Charles A Fowler(Connie) of Chidester, AR.

S ervices and D onations:

A family visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Friday, May 29th at Proctor Funeral Home of Camden, AR. A graveside service will be held at Ogden Cemetery, Liddieville, LA on Wednesday, June 3rd at 2 pm. All who knew Adele are welcome to attend.
