Rose Marie Dellaverson

Rose Marie Boazzo Dellaverson, 94, of Camden, Ark., formerly of New Castle, Penn., died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at the Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born Nov. 23, 1918, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Leonardo and Maria Impagliazzo Boazzo. She married Arpen James Dellaverson on May 21, 1944, in New Castle. They had three children, Marietta, Vincent and Richard. She was employed at Shenago Pottery and as a housekeeper for St. Vitus Catholic Church clergy until her retirement. She was a member of St. Vitus Catholic Church in New Castle and of St. Louis Catholic Church in Camden. She loved to sing and was a member of both churches’ choirs. She was an avid seamstress and loved to crochet. She was a great cook with Sunday dinner being a special occasion for her family. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arpen Dellaverson; a son, Vincent Anthony Dellaverson; a son-in-law, Anthony Watson; brothers, James Boazzo, Joseph Boazzo, George Boazzo and Michael Blazzo; and sisters, Anna DiCerbo and Madeline “Mel” Marcella. She is survived by two children, Marietta Dellaverson Watson of Camden and Richard (Alexis) Dellaverson of New Castle; nine grand children, Mattie Watson (Nick Bailey) of Springdale, Ark., Kristy Watson (B.J. Curtis) of Camden, Ark., Amy Watson (James Ferguson) of Camden, Ark., Lisa (Mark) Antonio of Novi, Mich., Missy (Marcus) Russell of New Castle, Alexander Dellaverson of New Castle, Adrienne (Mike) Miller of West Lake, Ohio, Dr. Allison (Justin) Woodhouse of Mayfield Heights, Ohio and Alicia (Greg) Measel of New Castle; and numerous great-grandchildren. A private visitation was held at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden. Proctor Funeral Home in Camden is in charge of the arrangements in Arkansas. Arrangements in Pennsylvania will be by William and Roger DeCarbo Funeral Home and Cremetory in New Castle.
