Rodney Aaron Cook, 29, of Shannon Hills, Arkansas, formerly of Camden, passed away on September 29, 2012. Aaron was a beloved son, husband, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Aaron’s faith in God’s saving grace through Jesus Christ was firm.

He was employed at UAMS as the Assistant Director of Clinical Engineering. Previous employment included Arkansas Children’s and Baptist Health North Little Rock Hospitals.

Aaron is preceded in death by his beloved Nana, Margaret Dunn Oliver. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Nelson Cook, daughter, Henley, parents Mark and Cheryl Cook of Camden, sister Casey Cook Lee and husband Jason of Little Rock, grandparents Rodney and Dorothy Cook of Camden and Brown and Maxine Oliver of Magnolia, father and mother-in-law Dick and Kim Nelson of East End, sisters-in-law Christi Nelson Sproles and husband Zan of North Little Rock and Luanne Nelson of East End, and Uncles Gary, David, and Randy Cook, and Doug and Jeff Oliver.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Aaron’s life on Tuesday, October 2 at 4:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church, 1505 California Ave S.W. Camden.

In lieu of flowers, Aaron would have desired that donations be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Hematology/Oncology Departments at ACH Foundation, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-9984. Please reference Team Zoe.
